Fallen Soul

November 29th, 2005

Another Wake, Another Time,
A Premature Goodbye.
I’ve watched you go and seen you pass,
I always knew it wouldn’t last.
Together now we mourn the loss,
and remember all the fun.
We’ll Drink the beer
and hang out where
death took another son.
So all for one and one for all,
do we ever wonder why.
Though the reasons clear,
this friend so dear
was taken before his time.

There are some events in life that are very sobering, events that bring you back down to earth so fast it causes emotional whiplash. We travel through life unaware of our own mortality, oblivious to the fact that we could be snatched away from those that care in an instant, leaving them with just the memory of the last time they saw us.

I found out today that the world lost a good person. He lived life how he wanted it, but was taken before his time. Daniel, you will be missed.
More to come…………

Satisfied Mind

“Money can’t buy back
Your youth when you’re old
Or a friend when you’re lonely
Or a love that’s grown cold

The wealthiest person
Is a pauper at times
Compared to the man
With a satisfied mind

When my life has ended
And my time has run out
My friends and my loved ones
Will leave there’s no doubt

But one thing’s for certain
When it comes my time
I’ll leave this old world
With a satisfied mind.”

Well, It’s a new time in my life I guess you could say. Things are starting to change in my life, and mostly in my mind. In 2 days it will mark one year of being single… 363 days since I was smart enough to realize it, and a only a few weeks since I finally figured out that it was over. I hung on to something that wasn’t there for far too long, not realizing I wasn’t what someone wanted. I have changed somewhat in the past year: got weak, became stronger than before, had a revelation that will forever affect my life (although no one believes it), and made some promises to myself.

On The Binge

November 26th, 2005

So I awoke this morning ready to head out to fight the ‘black friday’ traffic to get a new phone. I sat around being lazy until about 11:00AM, then decided to head to the mall. I ventured down to T-Mobile to see about getting my new phone, but soon found out that having no credit means having bad credit. I was told I couldn’t have the plan I needed because of my credit….. So I guess they assume I won’t pay my bill since I uh…. don’t have other bills? Anyways!

I then ventured over to the Buckle to check out a new blazer. Now don’t ask me why in the world I was in the buckle, but out of boredom I ended up there a week ago and saw a blazer I really liked. A merchant selling standard button up shirts for 79.99 is not my idea of a good place to shop, but this blazer just screams SEXY BIATCH! So I fought my way over to the blazers to find they don’t carry anything above a large. Who says a big guy can’t get dressed up all big pimpin’ style? So I guess I’ll try to order that online.

Okay, after Scott verbally attacked me because I hadn’t given him a uber cool feature like I have on my website, meaning the little images next to each entry; I decided I would make his site uber cool and add the feature.

So here you go! Uber cool thumbnails, now you just have to learn how to use them, BWAHAHAH!
