On The Binge

So I awoke this morning ready to head out to fight the ‘black friday’ traffic to get a new phone. I sat around being lazy until about 11:00AM, then decided to head to the mall. I ventured down to T-Mobile to see about getting my new phone, but soon found out that having no credit means having bad credit. I was told I couldn’t have the plan I needed because of my credit….. So I guess they assume I won’t pay my bill since I uh…. don’t have other bills? Anyways!

I then ventured over to the Buckle to check out a new blazer. Now don’t ask me why in the world I was in the buckle, but out of boredom I ended up there a week ago and saw a blazer I really liked. A merchant selling standard button up shirts for 79.99 is not my idea of a good place to shop, but this blazer just screams SEXY BIATCH! So I fought my way over to the blazers to find they don’t carry anything above a large. Who says a big guy can’t get dressed up all big pimpin’ style? So I guess I’ll try to order that online.

I got a call from my buddy Nick around this time. He was in the mall parking lot and saw my jeep so he decided to give me a call. We met up and looked around for a TU hat for his older brother Ryan who was visiting from Texas. We didn’t find one in any of the sports fan stores so we made our way to the parking lot. It was at this moment that we decided that it was BEER O’CLOCK (noon in this case)! We headed to the 71st Street Depot for some football and beer. Soon after that my good buddy Justin showed up to hang out and drink. We played some trivia game on the smaller TV’s to keep us occupied. We soon found some crazy bastard named Pete had somewhere around 1.75 million points… Whereas we only had……………. 8,000 ? GREAT GOOGLEY MOOGLEY! This man has way too much bar time on his hands. After that my brother David and his girlfriend Tonya joined us, along with their friend Aaron. This continued for a few hours, then a little after 5 we parted ways for a while.

Nick and I headed to my favorite bar, Sutures, to continue with the drinking. We stayed there for about 3 hours flirting with the surprisingly cute bartender until Nick’s frat brother Casey showed up to drink with us. A while after that we headed across the street to Bennigans to get some food before we went on to the next bar. We sat down and ordered some food. Soon after that we ran into an old friend Molly and chatted for a bit. I was really surprised and pleased to see her again. She was waiting for a friend to study for school, so she decided to sit at our table for a bit and hang out. Molly is an unusually pleasant character. She is one of the few people I know who makes clear eye contact with you without immediately glancing away. This sounds wierd, but it was quite nicing looking in her eyes (God, that sounds odd). Ryan showed up and sat with us until we were done eating.

After that we headed to CrawPappy’s for some more… yeah, you guessed it… DRINKING! We sat around watching Nick bark at women and scream “HEY SHAWTY!” to every cute girl that walked by. Later on Molly called Nick (she got his number at Bennigans, but didn’t ask for mine…. so sad) and decided to come hang out again. She stayed with us, watching us make fools of ourselves until closing time. We then parted ways, and the remaining crew (Nick, Casey, Ryan, and I) headed to TU for some drinking games. We tried to play “F*ck The Dealer” but Ryan was more interested in playing his own version of kickball/football/basketball to keep still. We ended up goofing around and running nick around in a shopping cart until we decided it was time to eat again.

Then Nick, Casey, Ryan, “Auggie”, and I headed to the “VI” (Village Inn) to get some breakfast. We had our respective favorites then parted ways. I arrived home at around 5:00AM, concluding a 17 hour drinking binge, and one hell of a time!! I better get some rest for tomorrow! :-]
