Thinking too much makes you remember good times, bad times, mistakes, losses, and regrets.
It may be over but it won’t stop there,
I am here for you if you’d only care.
You touched my heart you touched my soul.
You changed my life and all my goals.
And love is blind and that I knew when,
My heart was blinded by you.
I’ve kissed your lips and held your head.
Shared your dreams and shared your bed.
I know you well, I know your smell.
I’ve been addicted to you.
Goodbye my lover.
Goodbye my friend.
You have been the one.
You have been the one for me.
I am a dreamer but when I wake,
You can’t break my spirit - it’s my dreams you take.
And as you move on, remember me,
Remember us and all we used to be
I’ve seen you cry, I’ve seen you smile.
I’ve watched you sleeping for a while.
I’d be the father of your child.
I’d spend a lifetime with you.
I know your fears and you know mine.
We’ve had our doubts but now we’re fine,
And I love you, I swear that’s true.
I cannot live without you.
Goodbye my lover.
Goodbye my friend.
You have been the one.
You have been the one for me.
And I still hold your hand in mine.
In mine when I’m asleep.
And I will bare my soul in time,
When I’m kneeling at your feet.
Goodbye my lover.
Goodbye my friend.
You have been the one.
You have been the one for me.
I’m so hollow, baby, I’m so hollow.
I’m so, I’m so, I’m so hollow.
I’m so hollow, baby, I’m so hollow.
I’m so, I’m so, I’m so hollow.
It’s amazing how hard it is to leave the past behind…. Especially when you need to, but don’t want to and are afraid to give some things up.

I know.. It rhymes waaaaay too much.. but I had fun writing it, and that’s what matters.
Inequality
Our struggle against it faces impedance
and it’s existence lacks credence
but society has too much acquiescence.
Now is that a coincidence?
Look deep inside your conscience,
put aside your indifference,
and for once try to make a difference.
Negativity breeds more negativity,
which hinders intelligent activity.
So practice some exclusivity
when choosing who you allow in your vicinity.
Now let us look at this analytically.
If you aim to increase your amicability
you must first choose your brain as the facility.
Your first and foremost enemy of progressivity
is your minds own assininity.
Society has to take accountability
and take some steps in the right direction
if we ever want to cure this moral infection.

Just wanted to take a moment to say that Valentines Day SUCKS!
Not a good day for me… Or anyone who is single with no one to share the day with, I think. Not that it’s really any different from any other day. Today just seems like “point and laugh at the single people day.” My Jeep has been crippled due to failing parts.. I have had 2 days to get up to the truck supply store for the part I need and had no ride either day. I can’t even go search for a job because of it! I’m just glad it’s almost over!! YAY!!
I wanna go to sleep… Time to take the sleeping pills and forget about this cruddy day!
I’m done venting.
Thank you and goodbye.

I recently wrote a short story for a contest hosted by my friend Molly, but sadly I did not win. That’s ok though… I still enjoyed writing the story. I thought I would post it up here incase anyone was interested in reading it. It started with a dream I had… but most of it I just made up and did my best to create a worthy ending, but I just came up with the following….. Let me know what you think.

I haven’t got around to updating about the trip to Kansas City that Justin and I took… I’ve actually just been lazy!
So last weekend Justin and I took a journey to see our old high school friend Dustin. We left the night of Thursday the 2nd with energy drinks in hand. We got a little detoured on the way there but thanks to some quick action with the notebook and GPS, we got back on track. We arrived at Dustin’s apartment around 3AM, chatted for a bit then went to sleep.

The next day Dustin had to work so Justin and I decided to venture downtown to explore. We took a ton of pictures and saw a lot of cool stuff. We stopped at Union Station where we toured a railroad exhibit where we walked through a large train and saw all the different types of cars, it was kind of cool! We drove around some more, taking pictures of whatever interested us, and eventually after hours of sight seeing ended up at a casino. Justin and I sat down at a table and played “Texas Holdem Bonus” for hours on end. I didn’t know when to quit and I lost all my winnings. If I had just stopped I could have funded my entire trip with the winnings!!!

Last night Justin, Dustin and I went to a district called Westport. We met up with my old best friend Doug whom I was best friends with from kindergarten up until highschool when he moved. It was really cool to see him again since it had been over 6 years since we really had a chance to hang out. We went to two different bars. The first was “buzzard beach” which had to be one of the dirtiest bars I had ever been in, but it was fun. After that we went across the street to “kelly’s” which was a huge bar, with way too many people in it. They had a pizza place in the bar… beer and pizza… what could be better?
After that we all went outside to leave and I got a picture of Doug and I which I will post later. At this point a bum got excited that we were taking pictures and wanted to take one with us. Dustin and I posed with him and Justin took a picture. Then some passing girls wanted in on the action… but more on that at another time.
It was a great night and we still have another day of fun. We’re going to hit up a casino or two, visit a cool bar that has an arcade built into it.. so inebriated gaming should be fun.
I’ll probably have another update either tonight or tomorrow!

Well tonight I met up with Justin and Molly at IHOP for some coffee. Justin decided to eat and we all sat around talking about the usual random stuff we talk about. There were quite a few “tech savvy” individuals in the smoking section tonight so we ended up talking to them. Our waitress “Sully” was actually someone we met there quite a while ago in the early morning and apparently liked being there so much that she got a job there. Sully got off work and she sat down with us after Molly went home and talked to Justin and I. We met her friend Daniel and we all chatted for a while.
It is amazing how friendly people are at IHOP.. In the smoking section that is. It’s the only place I know of where you can go and just B.S. with the staff, and they’ll shoot right back with the same attitude. They will sit and talk to you, talk smack, bum smokes, etc… It’s quite an experience.
After a long time there Justin and I left and took Sully and Daniel back to Sully’s apartment. We then ventured downtown to take some pictures. We took quite a few very cool pictures, but didn’t have the freedom to do all the shots we wanted because it was dark… and there were quite a few questionable characters in the vicinity that we weren’t quite comfortable with. After that we stopped at Quik Trip for a bathroom break before heading home. Justin went into the bathroom before I did. I waited assuming it was a single person restroom. After a while I took a look and realized it wasn’t. I went in, did my business, and left. As I left I saw Justin already in the lobby. He went to his car and I followed. I then realized that I never saw him leave the restroom. Well… Apparently he went into the ladies room… Good thing there are two ladies rooms and they both were single bathrooms with locks. That gave me a chuckle.
Stay tuned for some cool updates this coming weekend. Justin and I have a great event planned that will call for many updates!
