Memorial Day

Well, Monday was Memorial Day but I still had to work. I was lucky enough to get out early so I could enjoy spending the day with friends. I went to Nick and Justin’s house in the afternoon and helped prepare for our cookout. Casey, Gonzalez, Nick and I got the grill ready and prepared the food. Casey did most of the work with the food as he is the chef extraordinaire. We were expecting some other people to show up but only one other person showed up. Barnesy, as I call her, showed up and enjoyed the tastey barbecue chicken, pork chops, balogna, baked beans, casserole and beer with us. I invited a shady character from my past and as expected she did not show up. We had a great time just hanging out, cooking, and enjoying the company of our friends.

After the party Casey, Nick and I went swimming then hit the gym where Casey kicked my ass. I have a feeling I really hurt my shoulder doing one of the exercises, but I’ll see if it’s any better tomorrow. As of right now I can’t lift my left arm above my shoulder without excruciating pain and stiffness. All in all it was a very enjoyable holiday.
